The Youth Leadership Initiative (YLI) is one of the programs run by AYB-SD in partnership with Vodafone Egypt with the aim of developing youth in Egyptian universities. This is achieved by providing modules to enhance the interpersonal skills of youth and in parallel providing technical knowledge and practical experience.

Put simply, the program's purpose is to utilise the potential in our youth to support Egypt in paths to advance and offer a better way of life to all Egyptians.

Our purpose is:

"Developing our youth; accelerating the advancement of Egypt "

The vision of the program is formulated around the importance of partnerships between different stakeholders to enable major achievements benefiting all parties.

Our vision is:

" To be the role model in developing partnerships between business, society and youth to create a unique learning experience"

The YLI team consists of over 40 professionals with various experiences in multinational firms. A unique aspect of this team is the fact that all efforts are of volunteers holding various positions within multinationals. This unique aspect is a step in exposing the youth to professionals who understand and act on their role towards the wider society. The team is committed to seven values that undermine how they interact with each other and how they interact with the youth.
